Restoration and Improvement of a Canadian EX

Got the X on the road last week. Needs a spa day as it was treated a little badly inside, but that is the easy part. Here is a quick pick

Springs and new stance

Got the interior professionally cleaned as the previous owner obviously spent too much time spilling coffee on the carpets. All turned out really well.

The Hellwig and ATS springs make such a huge difference in the handling of this rig that I would easily recommend this upgrade to all. Thanks to all hte FTE group for the hard work at documenting all the findings before my time.

Junior at ATS deserves kudos as well for great customer service and knowledge.

Next up is the headers, Y-pipe and Gibson exhaust. Tunes from 5 Star as well.

Looking good dude!

I think your front bumper needs some adjusting, it should sit flush with the bottoms of the fenders, headlights, and grill. Easy as loosening the bolt in each fender well, then the two on the hooks. Then just lift it up and re-tighten.

Not the end of the world, but that gap is bugging the hell out of me.

Wink

Like the Wedgewood Blue , if you are towing you will definitely want to upgrade your outside mirrors.

Hey hey hey we Canadians are a simpler people! We don't need those amenities!

Nice looking Ex, I like the look of the tires paired with the springs. Good to have another Canadian around, few and far between here

Cheers,

Nate

Thanks for the Compliments guys. Matt have the bumper on the list of things to adjust, was going to do it after new grill, headlights, and new Rigid LED driving lights where the fog lights go. Needs a new rear bumper too. Just need to find the right one. maybe a front bumper in the works too. Mark working with A1 right now to get the '08 style mirrors on my rig. The dogs are excited about the new rig!

Well got the Banks Headers in, new cat and the Gibson cat back exhaust. Has a nice sound and not too much rumble. Five star tunes are keeping it all together. Thanks to the gang at five star for help bringing this all together. What a HUGE difference in the powerplant and transmission. Very driveable so far.

Also got the new taillights, headlights, bugger and AVS on the windows. Painting new grill and installing soon
