E99 to 02 turbo swap?

Has anyone ever but an 02 turbo on an e99, My turbo went out today and I have a spare from my 02 that went t4 in the garage and was wondering if my e99 ebpv delete pedestal will work and can I just bolt the turbo on or do I have to change the pedestal as well or what other problems might I encounter ??? Thanks

cheers,
-will

You'll need to change pedestal, up pipes, manifold and plenums. OR you can swap the compressor housing and backing plate to the turbo with the good center housing. You may also be able to rebuild the bad turbocharger. A rebuild kit is under $100.

I have a early 99 turbo sitting in my garage if your interested. I swapped to a late turbo myself. There is quite a few parts that need to be swapped out like mentioned above.

No problem. It's yours if you need it for cost of shipping. Returning the favor a fellow FTEr did for me.
