Ambient lighting on the driver door (handle and bottom well) only works on red, orange, and green. Selecting anything with blue in it just turns them off or will show red. Rest of lighting in the truck works with no issue. If it was one light, I would think it was an led issue...but it's both the top and bottom of the door. Ford service over the phone just gives me a "never heard of that, who knows, would take a few hours to diagnose." Anyone had this issue before?

Would WARRANTY EXTENSION COVERING ACCESSORY PROTOCOL INTERFACE MODULE (APIM) Field Service Action Number: 12M02 have anything to do with the lighting system?

Again, Ford service says "dunno". I get the feeling they tell everyone they have no clue and they want to give everything a sniff first for the diagnostic fee.

Welcome to the forum, willisbr! I'm Crystal, the Ford Service rep here. It sounds like your truck is stuck on stoplight colors. LOL! Seriously though, your dealership's service manager will be in the best position to make any warranty determinations and assist with questions about coverage. What's your truck's model year and mileage? I'd like to see what I can do to help as well.

The 36/36k warranty is up but I wonder if that extended warranty for the APIM (100k) may cover that.
