You probably did; I did not go back and read all the posts in the whole thread and have limited short-term memory at my advanced age

I would look on Honda forums and see if any Honda 3.5 owners are doing better with full syn or syn blend--that cylinder shutoff thing scares me a bit although I would love to have an Odyssey.

I looked at one of my Honda postcards (for my wife's Civic) and their deal was $28.95 for a regular oil and filter change and $38.95 for a 0W-20 oil change; they do not specify if the 0W-20 is syn blend or full syn so I'll bet it's blend. The regular 5W-20 change is bulk Valvoline which they probably get really cheap but which has worked great in my Hondas.
