Look at the pic and you'll see that the boots come with the tie rod ends, but since there's a separate part number for them, they were also available by themselves.

I grabbed the tie rod from the dealer in Carolina.. and then bought the tie rod ends from Parts International...they claim they dont normally come with boots but the guy wasnt helpful... just wanted a part number and sale ... and he didnt have any ford books to even check... BUT.. their pricing was really fair and below dealer cost... so no complaints
I tried the part number C9TZ-3332-A for the boots but they said that wasnt a good number...

Thanks for all your help.. getting the last tie rod in the US felt like a real score.. and the parts guy said it was so old it came with a metal tag on it.. before the days of scan tags!
