First excursion! 2001 PSD
Hey guys, first excursion here. Had many Fords before, here's a couple
My 92 ranger, got it when I was a young buck kept it for a few years hacked it all up no lift and 35s
my f150 I just got rid of, 06 ccsb 5.4, had an 8" lift (procomp stage one and bilstein 5100 Leveling struts) was a nice truck..ended up on its third tranny at 143 miles and it was time for it to go
Which brings us to the excursion.. Picked this truck up in trade school last fall. Picked it up with 256km (150 miles or so). Got the ol trusty 7.3, I love how simple this truck is..even though I've gone back a few years I feel this thing should go way beyond my f150's life expectancy. Got one kid and we'll be having more soon so an excursion just makes sense.
I want to keep it pretty basic. Already done a homemade 6637 kit, and muffler delete.
Here is what I would slowly like to do to it over time:
-Front X-code leaf springs
-Homemade 1.25" shackles (already made em just gotta put em on)
-Rear 3 or 4" block depending on where the front sits
-fox 2.0 shocks all around
-dual steering stablizers
-eventually find 4.30 v10 60 for front and a matching rear
--
-Bushwacker cutout flares
-n fab front prerunner bumper with lightforce 240s
-Harley headlights
-xd addict 16x9
-38s
-keep some 235 85 16 studded wrangler duratracs on stock wheels for the winter
--
-5" mbrp exhaust (ebpv being so loud behind a straight exhaust can get annoying.. Lol)
-ww2 billet wheel
-ats housing
-ts 6 position
-gauges
That's about it.. Can't wait to start doing a few more things to it..suspension is definitely #1.. Front springs on this thing are totally sacked as I'm sure a lot of them on here are...will probably make a thread with my x code install
Looking forward to seeing a few more excursions around here!

Looks good bud, welcome to the group!
Personal recommendations - add a rear swaybar to the list, save for a 38R instead of the ATS housing, swap to a 6.0 trans cooler, and check out Gearhead tunes instead of a TS. May want to look at a 4" exhaust as well, I don't think there's any room by the firewall to fit a 5" without losing your mind. My 4" was an incredibly tight fit.
I've seen more and more threads the past few months of people having fitment issues with ATS housings, apparently their quality control has gone a bit south. The 6.0 cooler is vastly superior in every way to our stock tiny coolers which are barely larger than the power steering cooler. You can find them with the correct fittings swapped already or just pick up some 1/2" to 3/8" adapters at a hardware store. It'll go a LONG way towards keeping the trans fluid in the correct range. I recommend Gearhead because they've beeen amazing to work with, new tunes or changes are free and in your inbox the next day (being able to get new tunes emailed and uploaded yourself to the chip in 5 minutes is great!), and overall the driveability and power enhancements are fantastic. They use a blank Hydra chip and add their own tunes, so if you wish to go elsewhere you can provided they support the Hydra.
Do us a favor and fill out your location and signature in your profile bud, let's us know where you are and if you put the vehicle specs in your signature it'll smooth things out for everyone if you need help in the future.
