2012 Lariat FX4 Chrome Grill Bubbling

Has anybody else had the chrome of the grill begin to separate from the grill? Mine is only 2.5 years old and the top edge (where "superduty" is recessed in the grill) is separating in about 5 spots. It shows up as "bubbles" on the leading edge. Dealership said since you have 80k miles no luck on any help from the factory.

Thanks

We're it me, with no warranty help, I'd probably have the grill surround painted body color and buy a nice insert. About the only thing that can be done beyond that is replacement with a OEM unit. I haven't priced one, I'm sure they're proud of them.

The primed surround is $133 so you can have it painted. The factory chrome is more. I discovered it was annoying to replace but not difficult. You'll need new automotive plastic rivets.
