Cab vents and sub box question

Hey guys. Picked up a sub box for my truck it takes up the whole area behind the seat of my 06 cc f350. When The seats are up the vents pop out of the back of the cab.

I know it's not a great idea to remove them and cover the holes but what options are there? I can't have them sticking out of the cab. Any suggestions? Different style vent?

If you can measure it out Mark the box. Removed the subs cut out the marked area. Then put a piece of wood on the inside. You should have a recessed area where the vents will slide into when the box is in. You can vary the depth of the recess to what you need. Yes it's a little effort but a roto zip or jigsaw will make short work of it.

I don't have room in the box to do that. The subs pretty much line up with the vents and there is no clearance inside as it is. Box is 3" at the top 6.5" at the bottom and 17" tall

Then you would have to use a piece of aluminum or metal to cover the cutouts inside. That way your not taking up anymore room. Other than that there's not allot of options I can think of other that to seal up the vents the way they sit or Live with it.

Maybe trim the inside of the vents as needed and just glue them on from the outside with silicone or such?
