Ok so I've been having these problems for a little over two months. First my Tow-Haul light began flashing and my transmission began slipping and didnt want to change gears, next my transmission temp gauge dropped and doesnt work anymore, now everytime i try turn my truck on I get no turnover, spark, sound, nothing. I have to detach the fan/clutch wire next to the air pump on the left side of the hood and connect it to the positive battery post which has a little convenient place to direct a spark and get the truck to turnover and start with the key in the ignition of course. I have to start it this way every time. I've took it to various mechanics and they are receiving codes from the transmission dealing with the temp guage and neutral safety switch. They are certain they will have to drop the whole transmission and take a look inside to see what the problems are. Can anyone suggest anything?

Its a 5.4l 2006 super duty f250 automatic transmission
