7.3 crack at timing chain help
Hi Guys
Not a good day....I have a 96 PS. 290k miles removed the oil cooler replaced the rings seals bad oil leak. I May have put to much force on the reinstall and I noticed there is a crack on the front inlet where the oil cooler attaches to the front left side of motor... I may have done it but I am thinking with all the oil I was loosing it had the crack there before....
My question is there a way to fix this without pulling the motor? The crack appears to be the timing cover if I am correct right where the two bolts connect.
I appreciate and thank you for any help you could give me.
Love this truck... any help
