Disconnected clutch linkage

So, the bushings on the clutch/brake pedal needed replacing. Disconnected the return spring underneath the truck, took everything apart under the dash, replaced the bushings and reassembled. Everything went back together just like it came apart. Now I have two issues. First, the clutch is not disengaging when I push the pedal in. All linkage is moving correctly the same distance as it did before, under the dash and at the housing underneath. Second the assist spring is driving the pedal all the way to the floor. Without the assist spring the pedal is pushing and returning okay just not as smartly as it did before. Figure I will deal with that issue after I get to the bottom of the no clutch issue. Do you think I missed something when I hooked the return spring back up? Is there a trick to it? Everything appears to be correct.

A good nights sleep and a re-inspection of the garage floor showed the adjusting pin had fallen off the linkage. Somehow I hadn't noticed it missing when I put it back together. Amazing how much better things work when you reinstall ALL the parts. Case closed.
