Have a 1978 F250, custom trim level and interior code is DB4. Its supposed to have a blue knitted vinyl seat in it. Somewhere in its life somebody put in a black seat, door panels and dash pad. Looking to bring it back to stock. My questions:

- Has anyone used the aftermarket dash pads that Mac's carries, and can you comment on the fit and quality?

- Any interior dye in the correct color available, where I could dye the dash pad? Its in nice shape.

- Does anyone carry the knitted vinyl seat covers in blue?

- Should the seat belts be blue or black?

Dennis Carpenter has the best rep for fit and finish. Especially the door panels, but they are $$. Same for a new dash pad, seat belts I am guessing on originally blue and easily dyed to black?

There are dye's out there for the dash and door panels, but once black hard to go lighter color.

YES Dennis Carpenter has great stuff. I ordered a hood latch from the company. It is strong and fits perfectly.

I've used SEM vinyl dye (paint) with good results.

COLORCOAT COLOR CARD

There should be a blue close to what you need for your black-to-blue interior color change.
