Aren't those made of unobtainium? I think I just relinquished the title to you.

These are ALMOST unobtainium, I also purchased a 9 foot express driver side running board NOS. I didn't take a pic of it though

Was there an exchange of a human body part involved in the transaction? Nice score.

I too would like to know the story on how you found
these and a round about cost. I have seen some NOS
parts sell from a Ford dealer for the cost the dealer had
into them. So if the dealer has sat on the part for 30 or
so years it reflects to cost of 30 years ago.

What I am wondering is where's the one for the other side. Inquiring minds want to know.

For my 2c, Joe, you get to keep the title. I can guarantee you Ford made way more running boards in 1956 than pre '53 chassis type right side tail light brackets.

But by all means this does not mean to slight the cool find, 'cause all old truck NOS stuff is getting scarce.

I'm done having kids so I gave up a human body part. Actually it was priced what I thought to be fair and bought. Not a fast moving item for sure but when someone needs it "here it is"

Thanks Wayne. That was the only right side tail light bracket I've ever seen for sale, but I'm still new at this. Sorry for the

No, it's on my truck. It's the bracket for the flatbeds, not the easily obtainable one for the pickups. I didn't find it, someone else on FTE did and told me. I'd have to go back to my build thread to remember who gave me the info. That was more than 3 days ago. This is Thursday, right?

EDIT: I got the info on where to find the bracket from 38coupe, and the confirmed part number from 51PanelMan.

Again, sorry for the highjack...

Oh I know it is for a flatbed... Like my F6.

I haven't gotten to wiring yet, but that bracket is one part that is definitely on my list.
