'72 F250 front end swap?

Got a 2wd crew cab and was wondering what's a fairly easy swap? What year for better suspension and better brakes? I already have factory disc that came out that year but just want a newer front end.

If you already have discs, there is not much more to gain except for dual piston calipers and ya might have them already.

"better suspension and better brakes" is vague. Ride quality is based on bushing durometer, spring rates, and shock valving... And perhaps a front swaybar. I'd look to those components working together in order to meet your definitions.. whatever those may be. Braking improvements (shorter stopping distances) could be had with friction material suited to your needs but that depends on the crew's intended use which we have not yet heard.

If you have power disc brakes already, then there isn't much you can do on a f-250 without turning it into a f-100. You can add power steering if you don't have it already, but even the brand new super dutys still use twin i beam on 2wd models.

You can add a sway bar from a dentside to help with handling.

Yuuup... Bumpsided minds think alike. Either that or we have some street cred?

Not "beat". This ain't a contest! Rather, we provided two separate and independently objective comments and recommendations based on the OPs request for feedback.

rsirrin Can you be more specific? What are you thinking? As noted not a lot of changes available.
