Sorry for the delay. The weather has been BAD around here and I have had to work late almost all week. Anyway, here some pictures of how the Lokar TV cable is set up on my 1985 AOD. I did the conversion in 2006, and I do know that Lokar changed their transmission brackets some since then. So mine may be a little different from how yours ends up:

Looks like you or someone welded the Lokar tv cable bracket onto the shift linkage bracket. I'm going to try another way to see if it works. If it doesn't, I'll be doing it your way...

If your successful please provide some pics if possible, I don't have access to a welding machine right now.... it's also very nasty weather here until next week so I'll be waiting until the sun comes out to do mine

See the thread below for a link (with pics) to setting up the Lokar TV cable kit:

After weeks of bad weather, I finally installed the Lokar TV Cable kit. The one shift linkage bracket that is attached to the tranny boss actually has the bolt welded to it. That boss is where you are supposed to install the TV cable bracket. I used a dremel tool and cut the bolt out of the bracket so that I could mount the TV cable bracket on the boss properly. It worked out perfect with no welding needed!

I have a few pics that I'll upload showing exactly what I did that I'll post this eve when I get home.

How did you remove the bolt using the Dremel? I am experiencing the same problem.
