Tranny trouble...
I've got a 84/E150 with an AOD. My tranny doesn't shift into each gear until the motor is running at high rpm's. Is there a vacuum line anywhere? I changed the filter, but no luck. I greatly appreciate any help here, thanks.

Tranny trouble...
No vac line on an AOD. Does have TV rod or cable from throttle linkage down to a lever on the trans. Rod on early AOD years, cable on later AOD's. Adjustment is critical. Check that the plastic grommet that connects it to the throttle linkage is still there and okay. If the rod/cable disconnects or is way off, shift points are screwed up, and too harsh or soft. The rod/cable changes a critical control pressure in the trans. It is NOT a downshift rod, as such. Hopefully, it is something as simple as that.
