You can buy a reproduction grill. I am not sure on prices though, sorry, that's all the help I can give.

Are you talking about jost the plastic inserts or the metal surround that goes all the way across the front of the truck? The inserts can be found but the only new grille surrounds I know of are NOS and cost nearly $700, and then I believe you have to use a 71 or 72 insert. Good straight used ones are real hard to come by. An option is to go with a 67-69 metal grille. You can still find straight painted ones and an occasional bright one although they bent alot easier. I would get the painted steel one and have it chromed. I have a couple junk yards I go to that have some of the 67-72 trucks but they are pretty rough by the time they get to a junkyard, and the grille and steering column are the first things to go.

Hi Allen - Welcome.

You should be able to use a 70 to 72, but like williowbilly said the 67-69's are pretty cool when you chrome them.

My experience was at a friend's wrecking yard and he only had one. I was very happy to have it and all the extra little parts.

PS Try the wrecking yards first. (if nothing else but for the extra parts)

Dougs Trucks Pella , Iowa. They have nothing but trucks and trucks and more trucks, from old to older to new. Biggest Truck junkyard (er parts yard) that i have ever seen.

post wanted add on fordification, i've seen whole assemblies come up for sale on there at reasonable prices

all the 70 stuff is offered from all of the reproduction parts companies, it is pricey though

just remember the 70 grille, inserts & headlight surrounds are one year only, the 71-72 parts interchange with 71-72

1970 grille frame is 1970 only. The plastic grille inserts are the same right/left.

The grille inserts used on 1971 & 1972's are right and left specific. The mounting tabs for these inserts are in a different location than they are in the 1970 frame.

So you cannot use a 1971/72 grille frame with 1970 grille inserts or a 1970 grill frame with 1971/72 inserts.

Nice catch! I kept looking at that and seeing some guy that has been on the board since 2003 and has only 4 posts. I know I don't post much but, geez!
