Need help with manual hub conversion

Does anyone have a dead set correct part number for the cheap line of Mile Marker manual hubs for a 93 Dana 50 TTB F250?? all the ones i find are 19 spline 1.250 dia. and i need 30 spline 1.312 i believe. the only ones i find are the 449SS ones on summit racing and they are stainless and about $170. It seems that all the cheap ones for under $100 are for F150's.

Also if i go to the U-pull junk yard and get a pair of manual hubs off a late 80's early 90s F250 with factory manual hubs and i get all the hardware can i just bolt them in or do i need to change the nuts to?

thanks

Superwinch # 400439 looks like a possible candidate, lists my spline and dimensions

D60 hubs are the same as D50 hubs. Those smaller ones are probably D44 hubs.

Dana 50 and Dana 60 all use the same hubs

Does your truck have manual hubs from the factory or auto?

If manuals all you have to do is swap hubs.

If you have auto, you would need the FULL hardware setup from a manual hub truck(2 nuts with lock washer per side)

Superwinch hubs(very good not not a lot of $$) #400439

Warn(over priced in my mind) Standard# 11690, premium # 38826

Mile marker(Decent hub for the $$) Supreme# MIL104, StreetMaster MIL103

Or you can go to the junk yard and get any D50TTB or D60 manual hubs from 1980-97. the 95+ F series used 3 screws holding the outer cap on. They will still work like the 6 screw ones from 80-94

I have auto hubs, That don't work.

The Mile marker numbers you posted are both 19 spline 1.250 for F150 and bronco.

Now i know they're the same as D60, i'm finding them all over the place. i have a whole dana 60 axle out back from an old 92 Dodge i could steal everytghing out of.

Whats the difference in the spindle nuts and lock washer? My auto setup in the ford uses an identical looking setup to what my 91 ram does with manual hubs, Nut-washer-Nut and you need that special socket with the 4 tabs sticking out.

Sorry. That was the number i got from Mile Markers own site

Anyway. the AUTO hubs have one large nut with a "keyway" to lock it in place

the manual hubs have a nut that threads on with a pin sticking out from it

then a washer goes on with a bunch of holes in it. The pin goes thru the hole and a tab those goes into the slot in the spindle.

then there is a second nut that holds the washer tight to the 1st nut. When all together they cannot turn and loosen

Any junk yard will have TONS of the manual nut kits

I recommend the Superwinch ones for about $130

This dual nut setup you just explained is exactly what my Ford with auto hubs has. I took it all apart the other day.

I have one truck with autolocks and one with manual lockouts and they have the same nuts BUT the autolicks are the 5-screw ones. IIRC the 3 screw ones have a different nut. On my trucks the hubs will swap back and forth in minutes and work properly without changing nuts.

Then you are good to go. Someone was already in there. You just need manual hubs
