You can disable the DRL by simply unplugging the module on the outside(front) side of the rad support.. drivers side I believe, but that will also disable the parking brake and high beam indicator lights on the dash, so you need to install a jumper in the connector to this. I remember seeing a thread about this with a wiring diagram but don't have a link.
P.S. Apparently there is a Ford bypass plug for trucks that didn't get DRL.. I guess the harness is there anyway on 50 state trucks since DRls were standard from 1990 on in Canada.

Yeah, i was on my phone. couldn't do a search.
From my understanding it also disables the high beam indicator

I do not see the DRL plug on any of my trucks at the house and didn't see any at the junk yard

Ok. Had some time to toy with this tonight.
When you guys said jumper, I was thinking it was a harness of some sorts.
When in actuality, it is just really a cap for the DRL harness plug
Just unplug the DRL Module and plug this "cap" onto the harness
It has 4 pins inside to jump the necessary terminals
here is what it looks like
The harness plug. This plugs into the DRL module(bolted to the front of the radiator support under driver headlight and between grill and rad support) you can see it best laying under truck and looking straight up.
The "cap" or as it is commonly called a JUMPER
And inside it you can see the 4 pins

So you're saying all trucks '90 and newer even if in the states should have it? My '92 was manufactured in Canada btw..
