Unhappy The Long LONG LONG Wait for a 2015 F-150 Order.

So I have monitored this board passively for a few months. I ordered my 2015 on August 18, 2014. All I have to show is a photo-copy of a order build sheet from the dealer. I was told in August it would be late December or early January for delivery. Then on December 2, 2014 I corresponded with the dealer to get an update and see if we were on schedule…. No Surprise then I was told it would be February for delivery. So I decided to try again today and see if there was even an update like a actual build date, VIN number anything more concrete than a photo-copy of a computer screen. Long story short nothing new no true timeline just the feeling it is my fault the wait is so long because I ordered a long bed pick-up. Anyone else having less than impressive customer service and communication from their dealers?

They should have told you that the Kansas City plant where all the long beds are made was to be the 2nd plant shut down and is still not producing trucks.

They either were very incompetent or lied by omission

I have similar situation, ordered in August, finally got the vin#. Didn't get a build date until my guy at the dealer pulled my name & changed it to dealer stock. Checked the vin last night & now have the window sticker, so supposed to be built tomorrow if date is correct. Check with your dealer & see if he can do that if he hasn't already.

KCAP just now starting production and it will be a while before up to normal numbers begin to come off the line! So Dearborn has had all the production for now!

That's great news! I've been searching the web trying to find out when this was scheduled to happen, but unsuccessful.

Is there any web site that provides this kind of information?
