well on Monday 2/2 my wife's Edge wouldn't start-pulled back positive terminal cover and it was caked, CAKED in acid. So much that the actual metal clamp was so soft it broke while trying to take off. I had it towed to dealer as I couldn't jump start...see estimate below and give me opinions. A little over 50k on odometer. The reason I took to dealership was because I wasn't sure if it would be covered under warranty. I thought it MAY be covered since the battery was inspected last oil change-have the paperwork that states that it passed...

Just a follow up, while Ford dealership wanted $1600 for repairs, my local mechanic fixed for $200.

The regional claims rep you had look into this and who called me was very, very rude Crystal. Bad experience with Ford all around.
