Gas tank for 76 highboy

Hi guys, restoring my 76 highboy that I bought brand new in 76. It originally had a gas tank behind seat. I bought a reconditioned box that has 2 openings for a gas tank on drivers side. I would like to put a gas tank near the rear. Do any of you know of a supplier of gas tanks that would have one that would fit in that highboy. The highboy with narrower frame rails can give you fits when ordering parts. Any help would be appreciated.

I have heard that a 80's to 90's small Ford Ranger fuel tank will fit back there?

Aerotanks.com makes one that is 32 gallon, fits between the frame rails and around the rear crossmember. Downfall, it's $578. I went that route. If you do, make sure you call them to order. I think they changed the design and they have 2 different ones available. When I ordered mine, the filler neck wasn't quite right and I had to modify it. Then I think they changed the design so it wouldn't be a problem.

This is not a breather valve, it's the fuel vapor valve used with Evaporative Emission which also requires a non vented fuel cap, charcoal canister and unleaded fuel.

A vapor line routes from the vapor valve along the right frame rail to the charcoal canister located on the frame rail under the hood below the alternator.

Another vapor line routes from the valve on the canister to an elbow on the air cleaner.

That sucks. I dont have any of the vapor lines or the canister. There has to be another way to vent it
