Beating a dead horse...sorry

Will be heading out to the salvage yard in the next week or so for my short bed 67 2wd for a crown vic clip. Before i jump into this project I just want to get advice from those who have done the swap. Is there anything that will make the swap easier? And what are some problems you guys have encountered?

You might want to start a new thread , with something like " crown vic questions " for the title .

current thread title isn't going to get the attention of who you want to talk to .

I would have to say there are many threads on this subject that are well documented. Those who have documented did so with thought in mind that someone would benefit from reading it.

I would recommend doing a search on the subject.

From what I've read, the metric vs SAE is kind of an issue - namely PS lines.

2x with the previous posts.

Btw, there's a whole section on CV swaps in the Tech Info Hyperlink Compilation. Please refer to it.. it's there so we minimize postmortem physical assaults of equines.

2X Also, not all the times it's been done on the prior threads have been done exactly the same way. Use the search engine top of our board's home page. read through various C/V install threads and see which way better fits you and your situation.

From Dave's thread you have reference to my truck. From my build you have reference to JG F100's build thread. There is tons of info on it. Good luck with your swap.

Just relax and take your time. I must have verified my measurements at least 10 times before I drilled the first hole.
