That key pad is pretty sweet, but you can save yourself a lot of work by just keeping two wires in the back of the truck. Once bent properly, I can be in a locked truck through the vent window in about 20 second.

Someone posted instructions on how to do this at one point, but I won't. I'm not too fond of showing the world how to break into my truck. On the other hand, if someone locks the key in my truck out in the middle of nowhere, I know I can get in.

I've watched the cops break into my vehicle countless times when I lock myself out. Those plastic trim removal tools, plastic wedge, coat hanger, or a slim jim.

And considering we all have the same kind of truck, it's not like it's that big of a secret. You know one, you know all.
