I'm not sure what's going on. I just bought this truck for $1500 and 30 miles later it's blowing blue smoke and rattling in the bell housing. I was told it was the dual mass flywheel rattling but I checked it and it doesn't have much give maybe half an inch so I don't think that's what it is. also now it doesn't want to start, when it does, it runs real rough until I give it fuel. It mainly rattles loud at idle if you press the clutch it's still rattles but not as much. Rattle goes away about 1100 to 1200 RPM. Not really a knock, more like rocks in a can. The blue smoke smells like rich fuel. I think the smoke has something to do with the valve Guide seals. But as far as the rattle I'm not sure where to start. I do know the last owner put new glow plugs and controller. Also a new slave cylinder. Don't think that has anything to do with it just thought I'd add that in.
