The Fiat Multipla was built from 1956 until the early 60s. It is a forerunner
of the minivan. The early models had only 19 hp to carry 7 passengers, but
they later got 27 hp engines!

really different vehicles, and its panels were made of plastic.

It was made in Severodonetsk, as experimental vehichle to test plastic body. As I know not many vans were made, I saw it on road. From distans it seems u follow old Impala, but when u get closer U see it is van.

IMO, plastic and aluminium boies will be on road againe, in future.

Built Ford tough? Tough looking, beauty is in the eye of the owner.

God I wish Ford would bring back a rear wheel drive real van that could carry a 4'x8' sheet.
Mercedes is just killing the replacement market here in the US for commercial utility vans.
Businesses don't even bat an auditor's eye at $60,000+ some run over $100k

SUVs don't toot my horn.

Ford DOES make a rear wheel drive van that will carry a 4 x 8, the F-150. You did not say "minivan".

Actually, Ford has expanded it's Transit line into much larger vans. The American Pickers have one now. Looks very similar to the MB Sprinter they had before. I see Nissan has a small minvan, as well as Chevy.
