Say it isn't so....transmission Code
Hi everyone. I'm new to being a member here.
Out of nowhere, after doing my brakes the other day, I'm getting a p0732 and "trans fault" on the dash. I know that this is a 2nd gear ratio code. Literally the truck has never been off road, etc. and was not even being driven the day this came up. it's a 2005 XLT Supercrew with 179k miles. Trans shifts like garbage, basically slipping thru 2nd, to 3rd it seems like. This all happened after I lowered it back to the garage floor? I'm thinking a Coincidence. Happened to be doing brakes at the time?. I have access to IDS from work if that helps, but am no transmission expert.
Anyone have any advice?
I would love to think it's an electrical component of some sort because it's only the single code, and the trans has never been an issue.
Trans fluid did not seem burnt.
Thanks I'm advance
Truck is 100% stock with the exception of 285/70/17 Mastercraft Courser MXT's
