OEM steel 8 lug to 16x7 and tire size question

Hi all,
Acquired a 85 F250 6.9 C6 4x4 that has goofy oversized 16.5" tires with offset wheels.
I cannot find 16x6 OEM wheels, so I picked up a set of same style 16x7 steel wheels.
What will be the correct tire size to use for 16x7 wheels?
Any issues by not running 16x6 vs the later 16x7 width?
Thanks,
Tom

The same tires are used on 6 and 7" wheels so for a stock size 235/85/16s

Another question...

Thanks Brad.
Another question: which dogdish hubcaps will fit the Dana hubs on all four corners?
Thanks,
Tom

Which wheels did you go with?
Which style of hubcaps do you want?

Type 3 are blacked out in the five outlined areas.

If you want type 3's the correct number's are

E5TZ1130E = Front
E5TZ1130D = Rear

These are deep enough to fit over a full floater and have holes in the front that are big enough for D50 hubs.

I lost my lengthly response while trying to upload a photo from my stringless can.
The steel wheels that I acquired appear identical to the original style, except for the silver color, and width.
Too many choices there!
Will the type 5 fit on my rig?

You need the cans with strings; stringless technology is unreliable.

For each style there are shallow, deep, holes for locking hubs..
They all have different part numbers.

I don't know numbers for the deep & 4x4 wheel covers in that style.

Maybe Gary or Chris can help
