Need some tall skinny tires.

My research indicates that there are no longer any 85 or 100 aspect-ratio tires available in 15", so I think I'll have to go to 16" (I have the wheels, I think 16x5.5). The tire I'm considering is a 215/85R16. The potential problem is the diameter - 30.4". The question is this: will a 30" tire work on a '66 F100, particularly on the front?

I've got 235/85R16's on a '64 F100 2wd and they clear fine - IDK about the later gimmick front suspension trucks though.
