No screws. THey just should pull off. Might try to adjust the automatic adjusters all the way in that will release the brake shoes from the ridge. Then its hammer and pry bar to get them off.

Release the adjuster. Remove the rubber plug on the back at the bottom, stick a flat screwdriver in there and rotate the adjuster. I cant remember if you rotate it up or down. Then a couple taps with a BFH should make the return springs pull the shoes back away from the drum.

The self-adjusters make sense if you understand how they work. They need two tools (screwdrivers/brake spoon, etc) to loosen, one to push the adjuster lever out of the way, and another to turn the star wheel. Only one tool would be required to tighten the shoes, but It should not be possible for them to loosen otherwise. Rotate the star adjuster towards you (or CCW) to loosen.

Propane is your friend here, and a BFH, PB blaster, etc. Heat up the drum and pop the corners of the drum pretty good, it will come loose. A little anti-sieze on the axle hub makes things easier the next time.

They sure are stuck on there sometimes. Give the penetrant some time to soak, hit it again. To be clear, the drum spins freely, right?

If all the above doesn't work try opening up the bleeder on the back of the wheel cylnder. Once you do that the springs should pull the shoes in farther.
