Well between the rain drops I got some time to run the tests
The truck is still stuck in the driveway. When I did the tests
I had the E-brakes on, brake peddle on and wheels chocked.
The truck did not even try to move.

Start point values

The readings

Idle pressure. (I was in High Idle. But normal Idle gives the same)

Idle RPM gear changes and Stall speed attempt .

The Happiness it gave back

The first DTC it gave me

The second DTC

I don't get the P0720 & P0791. Well what do you think?
Could it be that I was just too fast on the throttle?

Just doing some before bed reading. I got to thinking What is my best option on this. If I
broke something big then I guess I'll be going for a replacement. I don't have a lot of faith
in a used trans. So do I go Ford with the 2 year unlimited or some thing like the Suncoast
Transmission. I am not trying to break the bank on this. Also I still have to get it installed.
My first pick of shops has started to not look so good they have a 50/50 review on Google.
But what ever I do I will need to flush the lines and coolers.

Now if I go Ford I will see if the local dealer will work with me on the price.
White Bear may get the order for the unit but that still leaves me with the install.

I'll wait till Mark Kovalsky has a chance to look at the videos first before jumping ship.

That indicates to me that something mechanical broke after the turbine speed sensor and before the intermediate speed sensor.
It was hard to hear your commentary in the video, but at least once I think you were able to rev the engine with it in gear, but the truck didn't move. If engine speed gets above torque converter stall speed and the OSS shows zero RPM an OSS code sets. I don't remember the criteria to set an intermediate shaft code, but I think it is similar.

Well I should know how much the Ford option will cost me later
on Tuesday. I need to see if they can work with me on some pricing.
I already have 18 Quarts of fluid, 2 solenoid, new 08 pan and filter.
I think I'll pull the new solenoids out and just box then up and tuck them
away on the shelf. May never use them but they will be there.
I'll let you all know how much the piper is asking for this last dance.

BTW The service writer seems to know the mechanical part well at
the dealership I went to on this. I asked him if once it out if we can
do a little dissection and take some photos. He thought that could be done.
So hopefully I will get some dead transmission photos to share.

But all in all I can't bitch about the truck.

If you are not trying to break the bank, don't even consider a suncoast

No one has gone into the options with some of the
aftermarket builders. I would like to hear some thoughts.
Right now I was thinking about a Ford Reman.

Had you been doing regular flushes and filter changes on it? My problem happened after a home flush and switching to Valvoline Maxlife without any kind of extra filter to catch anything the new fluid loosened up.

I think a lot of people are neglecting to do flushes because they can't find shops with Hot Flush machines(because Hot Flush Machines DO NOT EXIST).

I hope your problem wasn't a result of this too?

You can rent a transmission Jack from any rental shop for $20
I swapped mine in the driveway all by my self.
Got the used Guaranteed Transmission From a Place on Car-Part.com for under $500.

I know it's not a job everyone wants to do, but it definitely won't break the bank ;-)

My biggest issue is breaking the back not so much as the bank.

I would have to say the flush was about 6 mo
before the SSPC-A bit it. Then about a week later
I had to get a tow home. DTC pointed to the SSPC-B.
Changing that did no good. So I went on to run
the pressure tests and got what you see in the videos
plus the two new DTC codes
P0720 Output Speed Sensor Circuit Error
P0791 Intermediate Shaft Speed Sensor Circuit.

The truck would not move. It had the "I want to move" feel.

I have had horrible bad luck used trans from yards.
The one person I would trust to get me a good one
passed away this last spring. Quite the well informed
lady. I went to school with her and her husband.

Then the one guy I wanted to do the work is at a new shop
that does not have that good of a feedback rating with Google.

Oh well. If it would stay dry here for a day or so I would go
spend some time looking deeper into this problem.

Who did the flush? Was it a "hot" flush? Can you verify that they put SP or LV fluid in?

It was just a dump and fill with LV and new external filter. 9qt out and 9 in.
When I replaced the SSPC-A the pan was clean and really
nothing on the magnet. Just a tiny bit of fuzz.

I shy away from LV. As long as SP is still available,,, that's all I'm gonna use. I know I know,,, they're compatible. I've actually never seen a bottle of LV. LOL

Sean Sorry your haveing such bad luck with this.
I ran into a local voodoo priestess the other day but she says there are no good spells for a 6.0 otherwise she would have fixed her own years ago.

So I will light a white candle for ya and wish you luck.

I am more or less at the waiting for money point.
Should be able to get rolling this week.

Also I found that when I did the fluid change this last
spring I had used SP not LV like I thought. So SP is the plan.
