I've noticed the same thing on amazon I've priced out things in the past and went back to buy them days later and the price jumped up way above the price it was at originally.

Has anyone found a website that let's you design your own bench seat upholstery design? I been looking for one so I can get a new cover made for the old lady's truck. I want the upholstery to look almost like this one I saw on the internet awhile back I saved the photo for reference.

I went to a local upholstry shop and picked out my own material and they made it for me. I had ordered the one from macs first. Once I got it, I didn't like it. Ended up sending it back and got my money back.

Here is the seat before installing back in the truck and then once installed. It cost a bit over $800 for material plus labor, but I'm happy with how nice it came out.

^ I like how it turned out looks good in the truck. But ouch on the price almost makes you start looking for upgraded seats at that point. Atleast if your like me always switching things up.

Had to replace my seat as I had a good number of broken spring 2 in the seat & 1 in the backrest part of the seat. I tied it up a few times to keep the spring from poking me in the buttocks and the back for a number of yrs.

Then one lucky day, I came across a very nice seat in a 73 dent at PnP.
I wrestled that out and took the back rest off and loaded it into my camper.
It was in the same pattern as my blue one when, I had it replace with but it was in light brown color.

$200 labor & $169. for the new cover from one of the online vendors about 8 yrs ago.
The picture was when putting back in as it was just done with the new covering.

It was a bit much, but I think the end result was worth it. They replaced the foam and had to repair some of the springs in it. I wanted the original bench seat. It may not be original, but I think it has the looks.
