Hey guys it's been awhile since I've logged on here trucks hasn't had any issues really anyways my 07 psd has a serious vibration when braking I know most are gonna go with brakes are warped but even braking at low speeds under 20 I still get the vibration throughout the truck. I do not feel the vibration in the pedal nor does it really shake on the steering wheel. In July I rebuilt my front end lower n upper balljoints shocks tie rod drag link steering stabilzer n pads. Problem has been around for about 2 weeks now not getting better or worse. Also temperature doesn't matter and what I mean by that is if I get In It in the morning drive down the block and brake I have the same symptoms as if I've been driving for 40 miles. Kinda at a lose right now I'm pretty mechanically inclined but this problem has me wondering. Any help would be great
If you feel the vibration in the steering wheel, check the front rotors with a dial indicator for run out. If you don't feel it in the steering wheel, check the rear rotors.
If your mechanically inclined get under it and start checking things out. You may have a safety issue going on. Sounds like you've lost brake material off one of the pads and its metal to metal now. Or you have a rotor that's lost one of its surfaces. Does the 07 have disc or drum in the rears? Either way start pullin the wheels to inspect.
It has discs in the rear as I've said it doesn't shake in the steering wheel it shakes the entire truck. It's def not a broken or hung up pad. Does anyone know the min tolerance numbers if I was able to check the runout on the rotors front and rear?

Since it happens only when braking...
Not sure if 2/4 wd but check your front wheel bearings if loose.
Are your calipers or retaining bolts loose?
The obvious, warped rotors?
I'd pull each wheel off and inspect each caliper assembly and bearing for movement.
It's 4wd I'm in the process of pulling the rears so far those pads need changing and one rotor is scored on the drivers side so gonna replace see how that goes

You really should replace rotors in pairs.
Also, probably not an issue but if high miles and road salt regions, you might also inspect the rear parking brake shoes.
A scored front rotor can surely help shake your truck when stopping, noisy too.
