I can dig some up, it has plain head liner, rubber flooring and a/c. Has cab lights, and dual sway bars, bigger radiator, and Dana 60's front and rear.

More pictures would help, as said it's either an XLT or a Lariat. There should be an emblem on the glove box door and under the f350 on the cowl that says which one it is. That lighted vanity mirror on the sun visor is a pretty rare deal.

This is what a lariat interior looks like. Notice the door panel inserts and the seat upholstery

This is what an XLT interior looks like, again notice the door panel inserts. The seat in this truck has a cover on it and is not an original XLT seat.

What numbers might these be?

If there's a tag on the firewall (cowl), it's a buck tag, the codes stamped on these tags cannot be decoded.

Codes on buck tags were used by assembly line workers to assure the correct parts were installed according to the build sheet.

BODY code DTM: DT = Sand all Vinyl - Ranger XLT & Lariat / M = Super Cab.

While the BODY code is the same for both, there's no such thing as a Ranger XLT Lariat, it's either one or the other.

Ranger XLT: 1973/79 / Lariat: 1978/79.

Note: You can order a copy of your trucks original build sheet by passing along your VIN to martiauto.com

Just because it has a plain headliner and a rubber flooring doesn't mean it wasn't an XLT or a Lariat. Close to 35 years later and there is no telling what has been changed on that truck.

Fordification is a joke. Either an XLT or a Lariat, can't be both.

I know what some of the stuff is. Looking at the tag the last 4 number are the last of your VIN, 1640.

FWD is 4wd, cargo would be the cargo light, Looks like it was ordered with tow hooks, bedside tool box and AM radio with factory CB.

Color of the truck, HU, should be brown metallic and pastel sand.

DTM, D designates knit and vinyl, T designates the color Sand and M is for Supercab.

F, 4 speed trans.

24, that would be the D60 with 4.10 gears.

73, DSO code=Salt Lake City

That buck tag is screwed down in the wrong spot to.
