There is a pic in this link below where it shows the CANP does indeed go to manifold vacuum on 7.5L trucks. I recently learned, then overlooked again, how the 7.5L engine trucks have different EVAP system hose routing.

I looked at Mitchell and Alldata, On the Alldata diagrams I can't even read the text, it's a poor diagram. On some of the Mitchell diagrams it shows one side of the can p going straight to the throttle body and the the other side of the can p solenoid going to the charcoal canister and there is a "T" on that line, the "T"ed hose goes to the other side of the throttle body.

I did check the fpr and vaccum line no fuel present , there isn't a leak at the canp solenoid . After reading another post I tried changing the intake air charge sensor,before that the o2 sensor wouldn't switch between open and closed loop it now does . it is better ,but still smells rich
