i have been looking into the V3 triton amber/ambar LED bulbs for the front park/turn on my 06 SD
wondered if there are any using them here?
if so how do u like them?
to bright?
hard fit?
plus and minuses?

I have them front and rear on my 96'. Front ones are White/Amber which I use for DRL and turn. The white is very bright until you turn on your headlights which then dims them a little via a trigger wire. With them at their brightest during darkness is a bit blinding to oncoming traffic. The Amber is just right for a turn signal. The rear are red/red and are behind a red lens. I started to order white/white for the rear since they are under a red lens but after some research found out that red LEDs under a red lens are much better than white under red. They say white under red makes orange. Installation is easy and requires nothing beyond mounting a little box and plugging in some wires. Might even upgrade the 2015 in the future as they would look good behind the front clear lenses. Excellent output and quailty product.

 

may i ask how the white function of the LED looks next to the color of the headlight
i am concerned in the SD HL that it will make the headlight color look to yellow against the led white

 

Probably be a little whiter than stock headlights. I installed hid morimoto mini h1 projectors inside spyder clear housings so mine are a perfect match. They are the lower lights under the headlights in these pics.
