towing

Have about 700 miles on my 2015 F350 crewcab, 6.2l. What's the recommended mileage before towing? Really like this truckso far. Was a llittle nervous going gas after owning diesels since '92. Thanks

I believe the manual says 1,000 miles.

I waited until it had 370 miles, the first pull was 650 miles one way and I treated it nice. On the way back it was normal pulling. I've always break my trucks in the way I'm going to use them. Just think about all the class C and A motor homes that are loaded from day one.

Loaded? Yes.
Driven like we drive our trucks? Nope.

The price savings by owning a gasser over a diesel makes it worth owning one. I know too many people who had nothing but problems with their Power Strokes, that made my decision to never own a Power Stroke myself. Plus, a Power Stroke is too costly to maintain.
