The AL519 does have datastream capability (Even reads, records and plays back live sensor data) but I'm not sure how thorough its sensor list is compared with the AL619.

I should also mention there are a lot of bluetooth and wired OBD-II dongles that can connect to laptop computers or smart phones for less than $20. For another $5 and an Android smart phone you can get Torque Pro which also has datastream capabilities.

Yes, if you have a Android smart phone, you download the Torque app to your phone. There is Torque Lite with might contain all the functions you need currently, or for something like $5 you can get Torque Pro which adds functionality.

The PID data is not really datastream data. The datastream data would be the data for various sensors that is displayed real time while driving as well as at the moment the vehicle acts up. You will have to add displays to the screens of Torque for various sensors.
