it say it in the 1st post..
"Muffler defined: Muffler is a device consisting of a series of chambers or baffle plates or other mechanical design for the purpose of receiving exhaust gas from an internal combustion engine and/or turbine wheels for the purpose of receiving exhaust gas from a diesel engine, both of which are effective in reducing noise."

Put a turbo on any N/A engine and it gets quite

design for the purpose of receiving exhaust gas from an internal combustion engine and/or turbine wheels

Its saying Receiving exhaust gas from a turbo, not saying or a turbo. it makes it quieter because it compresses the gasses, not muffle it.

device consisting of a series of chambers or baffle plates or other mechanical design

it doesnt say turbine wheel there.

Yes, it quiets it down, but a turbo is not a MUFFLER.

FYI, NAPA is screwing you. Along with Ford and International.

Go get a WESTERN plow relay # 56131K(make sure it is a WESTERN BRAND, not a replacement)

They re $15 and will out last the NAPA, Ford and IH ones 10 fold
Western snow plow solenoid motor relay 56131K-2

Also. Do NOT wire in a push button. There is ABSOLUTELY ZERO NEED to do that. Unless you want to burn up go plugs and swell tips which necessitates removing the head in order to remove glow plugs

Got some work done to the rig, took the exhaust off minus the down pipe, gutted the cat and installed my new "muffler" then put a turnout with the tip on it for the tire burner exit. Hammering out the Cat was a lot of work, dusty as all hell and tiring. only had a small ball peen hammer to pound on the bar with.

Also got my new fog lights wired up. only took me a week lol been -35 with windchill lately so i definitely didnt want to be outside without gloves

FYI. the down pipe is more restrictive than your cat and muffler combined

Where de you find your info? off Facebook?

a 4" Down pipe will not even come close to fitting in an OBS. 3" is what you want and still need to modify the firewall/floor pinch weld

I havent put too much research into downpipes, calm your s**t. i guessed at to what would fit, a few people have put a 4" in obs with minor modification that ive read up on

More than Minor. You need to cut about a 6" section out of the cab floor in order to fit one.

Most people don't even know what they are talking about when they say 4" DP in an OBS. Any 4" exhaust kit you buy will have a 3" DP, NOT a 4" like the uninformed think.
Also unless you are putting some huge turbo in, there is zero benefit from putting in a 4" DP since the stock turbo is a 3" outlet
