2001 Ranger trans pan gasket (5R55E)

Does anybody know where I can find a thick rubber/metal transmission pan gasket for a 5R55E? Not one of this paper thin rubber gaskets, the thick rubber gaskets with a metal frame. Something similar to this. Yes, I know I could make do with a standard thin rubber gasket, but I'd rather go this route if I could. Thanks in advance!

The Ford base part # for the OEM gasket is 7A191. Try an internet search using the keywords "Ford gasket 7A191" and you'll find some OEM gaskets for sale on sites such as Amazon and eBay.

Thank you! I spent so much time searching for multiple different search phrases and never bothered to consider an OEM part. The tranny on this truck was replaced by Ford several years ago and they used a standard paper gasket, so I just assumed there wasn't an OEM steel/rubber gasket. Thanks for the help!

You're welcome.

A quick FYI: You want to torque the tranny pan bolts to 10lb/ft (14Nm).

Thanks. Rock Auto didn't have anything listed that I was looking for but after doing some more research with the info you gave me I found that the same gasket is used for 4R44E, 5R44E, 5R55E and A4LD transmissions when I thought they were slightly different. So I could go to Rock Auto and find the rubber/steel gaskets for sale in Explorers and Mountaineers. So thanks for leading me in the right direction.
