Hi quick question ...?

C9ve-a for heads and the crank is 429. Are these worth picking up? For my 460 ?? Thx for the input

 

C9VE's are 1969 429/460 heads. 429's were only installed in 1968/71 Thunderbirds & 1968/73 Ford/Merc Passenger Cars.

 

Ok cool, so nothing super special about them? Not like d0ve-c

 

D0VE's are nothing special either, as they are also 429/460 heads, as are C8VE's & D1VE's.

 

C9ve heads are identical to D0ve heads. They are some of the best factory heads made. Same with c8 and d1 heads. D2, and d3 are completely different. Stay away from then.
The crank is not going to work in your 460. The 429 uses a shorter crank.
