wireless winch remotes

I am thinking of buying a wireless winch remote and would like any info that anyone has reguarding the different brands and pro's and con's of them.

If I was buying one, I would buy one that could be disabled with a dash mounted switch (believe Ramsey offers this), allows the setting of different codes, along with running the winch via the usual method of a cable.

I have not tried the wireless myself.

wireless winch remotes

I just bought a warn 8000i for my truck.....made my own mount and mounted it myself. I personally don't see anything wrong with the setup that came from the factory. You hook up the cable to the winch, stand by the side and start winching......whats wrong with that?
