is there a speed limiter or is there something else wrong ?
Seems to run fine until you hit 75.

Electronic speed limiting was an option on fleet vans, if that's what you have.

Its possible.

Thumbs up limited limiter

A Ford dealer should be able to reprogram thru the OBD port.

Finally broke down and bought the programmer .
When I punch it at 75 it now down shifts and TAKES OFF .
5 star wasn't cheap but it sure worked.

I was stupid to wait a year and a half.

Is there improvement in other areas or just removing the speed limiter?

5 Star has long been the go-to programmer for Ford's Modular Motors---our V10 forum has a long thread of the stellar-ness of Mike's offerings.

His tuning strategies along with a crazy dedication to customer makes his products fairly cheap by comparison to similar aftermarket tuners. Every time I read another compliment from a satisfied user I'm almost sad I don't have a need for his products!

I have the 5-Star programmer on my wish list for as long as I have my van.
I hate it when I need to get on it while passing a truck on the Autobahn and have the van hit the speed limiter at 100mph, which is just the average speed on the left lane here and you can be sure to have Mr ******** Audi driver tailgating until you can move over again
I put on a new 14" Flowmaster 44 under the truck, only to find out that my old Dynomax muffler was clogged (and cracked at the fitting anyway). It now takes off much better and plays a much nicer tune

Yes. Not so much off idle but mid range and top end. Better shifts too.

I got 3 tunes. 87 octane towing, 87 octane performance and 93 octane performance.
I have only tried the 87 octane performance so far.
