Well I've gone through circuit board behind the dash and the seems to be in good shape. There is a bulb missing, could that cause some of this? I have not gotten into the turn signals or brake lights yet. I did go get a manual so I have the wiring diagrams. Also, I found the wring in the dash is a mess, lose connectors and cut wires everywhere. I've got to get all that sorted out and then see where things are.

I had a similar problem when I got my truck, hazards worked, turn signals didn't, easy fix right, went to Advance and bought a new relay switch, put it in and nothing.....long story short, try this set the turn signal lever to a blink position, and wait, if you get a faint blink every once in a while, the relay is too weak, as was my problem, lucky for me the hazard relay was a Ford part, part number D3AB-13350-AA, I changed it to the turn signal and it works just fine, and the hazard works on the cheaper relay

Before u start rippin n tearing - signal wires run thru the hazard switch - I wiggled my hazard switch (with the turn signal on) and found they work when I lightly press forward on the hazard switch. Bad contacts in there. Hope yours is easy to find as well. Took me a year of banging on the dash before I found the loose connection there.
