help !! something is draining my battery

I have a 89 f250 7.5L lariat 4x4 automatic.. something is draining my battery. 2 weeks ago I got a new battery, new alternator and new positive and negative cables because the alternator was only giving me 1 volt. And I come home Sunday and it's dead all I got was clicking and today dead no battery left.. what could be draining it I have nothing extra it's all stock no work done to it yet other than trying to keep it running. Anyone got any ideas what it could be? It also seems to me that it might have started doing this stuff after i got the spark plugs changed.. idkThanks

Not sure how to embed but an ohmmeter and pulling fuses will narrow down the culprit. I'm going through a similar issue now.

We just sold the wife's Miata… drained four batteries in five years @ $128.00 each. The car had a ratty old radio install… I always had a hunch that darn radio wasn't shutting off after the key was off and the lights went dim.

I replaced the radio two weeks ago and PRESTO! No more dead battery!

Do what kellter suggested… good way to start.

The radio turn-on lead (wire) is probably connected to the constant power wire, as opposed to the power turned on by the ignition switch. Reconnecting the turn-on lead to a 'switched' lead could possibly help.
