need help identifying rear leaf springs
I am getting a set of rear springs from a 2002 f250 2wd diesel. There wasn't any tag in them and the door sticker was long gone. If my memory serves me correct there are 4 main springs and a top overload. Does anyone know what springs these are.
Also can I use the top overload bump stops and bolt them or weld them onto the excursion?
Also is there any difference between a rear 250, 350 and X block. I would like the biggest lift using factory parts.

The springs should be a 4/1 (4 leafs in the main pack over a thick one the bottom) with a possible overload spring that sits on top, either bolted to the main set of springs or sits on top and held down by U-bolts.
Tough to say exactly without doing some certain measurements but the main spring pack may be a B code.

I recall someone saying not to use the upper overload springs as they'll contact the rear A/C hoses on the passenger side.
Plenty of info in the tech folders.

F350 blocks come in at 3.75" where F250 and Excursion are around 2". Here is a thread all about the blocks. Be aware there are two types tapered and flat. Look for post #22. Depending on wheelbase length detemines what is needed.

I do not have the vin. The body is long gone. I didn't see any number on the springs but they were dirty and it wasn't very light out. Once I get them I can look closer. The springs will still be on the truck for another month or so until the chassis is finished being stripped.
