Well *****,drip,drip
Saw a old gas station today driving home, decided to pull in and take some new pics. At this place it used to be the road was level with the driveway, didn't know they just repaved it and the road is higher now than the driveway. I slammed my gas tank pretty hard, when I got home I noticed after a while a small puddle dripping from the tank. Now my idiot question is, will it be alright to drive it to the shop (approx 30 miles) or should I get it towed. It was going to the shop anyway to install the new Mustang tank under the bed, I just want to know the safest thing to do. Thanks,L8R ZFLASH

As long as the drip isn't near the exhaust you should be ok.
It's a judgement call on you though if you feel safe doing it or not.
If it really is a drip and not near the exhaust I would drive it.
Might as well use the gas before it drips out.
I've heard the bubble gum trick as well, never tried it. You can also use Ivory soap if I recall correctly.
Just rub the bar over the drip, making sure to dig the bar into it.
I ended up getting this steel epoxy that has worked quite well. So well that the spare tank I have
is still sitting in the garage till the leak starts again.

BTW, thanks for the pics for the old gas station and your truck. Now here is a smart a** comment for ya: If you had kept your truck stock and not slammed it the gas tank would not have bottomed out and you would not be in this situation!!! But of course I am a stock lover!! Your truck looks nice . I do like that subtle two tone of black and silver....

The PO had COOP's CHOP SHOP on it,and I decided to take it off. Now I'm trying to come up with something catching on it or leaving it like it is. Thanks Harrier,L8R ZFLASH

This is the only car/truck forum I belong to, but I have heard how nasty guys can be on other forums. That is not how we are here. If somebody new shows up and acts like that we usually ride him out of town!
