I just have to keep telling myself that there is nothing wrong with my truck and it is worth it in the end to run it into the ground rather than getting a new one.(unless I win the lottery then I will get a diesel and go on a vacation with a fifth wheel)
Yikes. Was only about -10 in cowtown. I have pretty thin skin, I don't think I'd last at any of the outdoor jobs up north. I did bad enough just visiting the rigs and watching the boys work through the doghouse window . . . .
-14 in my neighbourhood, left the snow for tomorrow when it's warmer. When you know how to procrastinate theres always a tomorrow. Hope the girls got cheery in Texas.
I didn't bother brushing the snow off my truck yesterday, and I think I saved myself some trouble. All the other cars out front have a thick layer of frost, but mine still just has snow. I think I'll leave it till tomorrow. I hate scraping frost.
Wow Nice truck! How much was the new beast if you don't mind me asking?
And I have one more day of work then I get to go home for one day then to Red Deer for another cheer comp.

Hello new F-150
I'm starting to see the 2015 F150's downtown. There's one white XLT and one black platinum that park in centennial parkade with me. I still hate the chrome tailgate.
I think it was 43. But they also paid off what was left owing on the mustang.
They gave me 32 for the stang and I was still able to get the incentives in the new one.
So I think it was a smart move.
Maybe in a couple years I'll try the mustang again. Who knows
Friggen cold one today!
The 6.7 started first try not plugged it. It complained a little but dam. I wish my 6,0 started like that. Not a chance it would have started today not plugged in.
I heard on my CKUA weather report that there was some awful cold up north for you boys. Some areas are getting high winds too, hope that's not affecting you.
So nice when the truck starts up in that weather. Big hassle to mess around trying to warm it up, boost it or whatever to get it running.
Aaaaand, sold my old trailer last night, for pretty close to asking price. I'm really happy about that. I had a bunch of guys lowballing me, and I was concerned I'd put my price too high. This isn't the kind of economy where I want ot be holding onto two trailers and paying for twice the storage either.
Now I just need to transfer all the odds and ends over to the new trailer, and get out camping.
