Thumbs up Diesel coming to Costco

I'll ask this question here, since this seems to be the busiest of the diesel forums. Are any of you Costco members seeing diesel being added to your stores? I was just at my "local" Woodinville, WA Costco and they have the place all tore up, because they are adding diesel pumps to the gas station out front.

Not here at my Pinellas county store yet but I hope so, as long as they have fast pumps.

I go a little out of my way to fuel up at a truck stop for cheaper pricing and fast pumps.

Today's price was 3.63 a gallon I think.

Don't even have gas at the costo's around here. Filled up for 3.79/gal today though so can't complain too much.

Is there a Costco on Twisp? Or is this a random price at some other store? I'm interested in finding other Costco's with diesel. If the Wanatchee store has diesel that would be cool.

Well they must be giving up on the reason
I was told that they would never have diesel.

They have fear of all the BIG tractor/trailer
rigs pulling in and ...

That could cause an issue, but seriously you'd have to be out of your mind to run tractor trailer into that mad house!

But that was there reasoning.

One simple way to keep the big
guzzlers out would standard flow pumps.
150~300 gallons at standard flow would take forever.

The Manager at Puyallup told me that there's not enough interest in diesel for them to do it there. They do have diesel at other bigger stores with more traffic.

I told him that if I could drive my truck to Costco to get fuel, I might buy more "stuff" IN Costco!

I bet you talked to the same spud I did.

I don't know where they get off thinking that the
Puyallup store is not busy. AND they have a better
in and out at the fuel islands.

Yeah, If I was in the diesel fuel business I'd much rather sell fuel to a few 6.0 owners at 30 gallons a pop as opposed to lining up the big rigs at 300 gallons a fill up. lol
