Frustrated Ranger owner

Hey guys, I have a bit of a quandary. I have the check engine light on for my 2004 Ranger 3.0. This has been an ongoing problem for two years. The truck runs ok except when I am sitting with it in idle for a short period of time. The light will go on and stay on for weeks. Sometimes it will even flash. Other times it won't be on at all. I have had three mechanics work on it to no avail. I recently changed the plugs, wires, ignition coil, two fuel injectors, and many other things. One mechanic said it was a cam sensor but he needed a special tool to change it. I though I changed it. I think it was just a plug and two screws. Also, when in idle, if I rev it to over 3000 RPms it will start to bog out. The problem is that I need this fixed because I can't pass the local emission test. They won't let me renew my plates until it is fixed. The codes as of yesterday were P0300 and P0312. As of today, the light went off. I have my back against the wall. Does anyone know how to fix this? Please help

Have you had the fuel injectors checked?

If it's not a CMP issue, then unfortunately you might be looking at some bad cylinder heads:
